Tina Kuckkahn, J.D. (Lac du Flambeau Ojibwe), has dedicated her career to advancing Indigenous self-determination, arts, and cultures through various educational and philanthropic initiatives.

 At the Evergreen State College, Tina served for more than 20 years as the founding Director of the Longhouse Education and Cultural Center, before becoming the college’s first Vice President of Indigenous Arts, Education, and Tribal Relations. She led the design and construction of the Indigenous Arts Campus, a series of art studios dedicated to Indigenous arts.

In 2021, Tina joined NDN Collective as the Director of Grantmaking, eventually becoming the Managing Director of the NDN Foundation, where she helped shape and refine NDN’s holistic strategy through the rematriation of wealth across Turtle Island.

 In September 2025, Tina became the President and CEO of First Peoples Fund, a national Native arts organization that provides resources to Native artists and culture bearers. 

Tina serves on several boards and advisory councils currently, including: 

• Board of Directors, Grantmakers in the Arts

• Four Directions Council, National Museum of the American Indian

• Waaswaaganing Living Arts & Cultures Advisory Board, Lac du Flambeau Tribe

• National Advisory Board, NDN Collective
